Raya’s newest subsidiary, Raya Electric, was established in 2020 to manufacture residential/commercial air conditioners and small home appliances. The company has successfully positioned itself as a key player in Egypt’s industrial sector, serving local and global brands with the potential to export its air conditioners product portfolio based on Raya Electric’s own platform.
Raya Electric has also partnered with LG to manufacture LG-branded residential air conditioners. This collaboration introduces a manufacturing as a service (MaaS) model to the MEA region, featuring over 60% locally produced parts. With an EGP 350 million investment, Raya Electric's state-of-the-art factory in 6th of October City aims for a production capacity of 300,000 units annually, meeting high international standards and exploring regional export opportunities.
