Cairo, Egypt – 9, February 2026
Raya Holding for Financial Investments was formally recognized by the UN Global Compact Network Egypt (UNGCNE) as an Early Adopter of the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, during the official celebration marking the 25th anniversary of the global initiative, held on 2 February 2026 in Cairo.
This distinction places Raya Holding among the longest-standing active members in Egypt to receive the recognition, reflecting more than two decades of continuous engagement since joining the UN Global Compact in 2004.
The recognition acknowledges Raya Holding’s sustained commitment to responsible business practices across the four core pillars of the UN Global Compact: Human Rights, Labour, Environment, and Anti-Corruption. It also highlights the company’s role as part of the early foundation that supported the introduction and development of the UN Global Compact movement within the Egyptian private sector.
Over the years, Raya Holding has embedded sustainability and accountability into its governance and operations, supported by the regular publication of sustainability reporting aligned with international disclosure practices. This approach reflects a belief that transparency is not a compliance requirement, but a driver of trust, credibility, and long-term value for stakeholders. As Raya Holding continues its growth across multiple sectors and markets, the company remains committed to advancing responsible investment, ethical governance, and inclusive economic development in line with global standards and national priorities.
